A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is handled by the outside provider that supplies results. Warren Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches on its own servers. A message sent to us contains only the details included in that message and is used to respond.

Hosting systems may create standard logs such as an IP address, browser type, visited page, and timestamp. We review this data in aggregate for site operation and readership patterns. Basic analytics or advertising measurement may use cookies or similar technology where applicable.

The limited data supports operation, troubleshooting, aggregate traffic review, and improvements to the reference. We do not sell visitor lists or construct individual visitor profiles.

You may ask about personal data this reference holds. The Michigan source review did not locate an enacted comprehensive consumer-privacy statute that changes this limited-data approach. Because little information is kept, a request ordinarily involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant logs, then deleting data that can be located. Use the Contact page to ask. Public records held by Michigan, Macomb County, or Warren offices are outside our control and must be addressed to the custodian.
